Halloween

Well we had a wonderful halloween. We carved pumpkins and went to the school trunk-or-treat and then we went to the church for chili, games and indoor trick-or-treating for the kids. I love the indoor part! Its safe and warm.. We had a great time.. Gohan's pumpkin is pictured. He says it has lots of scars. It was his first year carving by himself. Way to go Gohan!!

blogging again

Well I have decided to try blogging again.. I just can't seem to remember to do it but I'll try and do better.. It has been a year since I last wrote and oh so much has happened. James graduated with his associates degree in computer network systems and is now working on his bachelors in computer network security.. He has been going to school for so long I can't remember anything different. The army seems like it was a very long time ago. The kids are all doing well and growing fast. Anthony started 6th grade this year, gohan is in 3rd grade and Ethan has an awesome 1st grade teacher. Kahlan is two and we are trying to potty train now that the crazyness of having a new baby in the house has slowed down. Elijah is our ray of sunshine. He is a mommy's boy for sure but is exactly what I need most days.. I am enjoying him.

Well I have been getting used to just having Kahlan at home now. Anthony, gohan and Ethan all went back to school last week. It has been an adjustment for all of us.  I am enjoying the quiet though.  The boys really enjoy school. Ethan especially loves his teacher and feels very big going to school everyday.   I thought he would have a hard time going to school but it was me that had a hard time when he went.  He is my little sweetheart and it is hard to see him and the other kids grow up.  Kahlan is enjoying having her mommy and all the toys to herself.  Her new thing lately is to crawl up on her brothers bunk beds, (which scares me to death by the way) She gets stuck there and I hear her yelling for me.  Here are a couple pictures. I will try to post more later. Kahlan is in the fish stuff!!!

Well its been awhile since I posted. I hope you haven't had a hard time viewing the blog.  The boys are getting ready to go back to school next week. I can't wait. It is tiring having them all at home all the time.  Kahlan is crazy.  She climbs on everything. I found her on the counter yesterday trying to get the cereal down. I guess she wanted a snack.  Anthony is very good with her. He plays with her and makes sure she doesn't get hurt.  She wants very much to keep up with her brothers.  The kids have been having a good time outside. Anthony and Gohan built a restaurant out of wood they got from a neighbor.  We have a really nice neighbor named Bob.  He really enjoys our kids.  He helped Anthony with his bike and even fixed the training wheels for Gohan.  It was a big help.   James is on a two week break from school and it is very nice to have him home in the evenings.

Outside

The kids have been enjoying playing outside.  The weather has been great.  Kahlan especially likes to get outside. We have to watch her though because we spent the first couple of weeks here nursing bruises on her head. She fell down the stairs several times before everyone learned to shut the door.  The boys have been building an army base outside in the dirt. It actually looks really good and it took quite a bit of work to dig.  I enjoy going out and just sitting.  It is a wonderful view.

Intro

So I've decided to join the crowd and start a blog.  It has been a busy month for the Anderson family.  First though I'll start with introductions. James stays very busy working as a contractor for a phone company and is also  enrolled in college at ITT Tech and loves it.   I am currently a stay at home mom and I love being able to see our children grow and learn.  Anthony is our oldest.  He is our soccer star.  Gohan is 7 and very creative.  Ethan is our lovable funny 5 year old and Kahlan is our busy, busy little girl.  She keeps us all on our toes. We have recently rented a house and feel so blessed to have it.  It is large enough for our family and also has a huge yard that the kids love to play in.  The house also has a wonderful view of the Puget Sound.  This last month has been busy with moving, and trying to keep the kids busy.   I'm learning that keeping the kids busy during the summer is hard.
